The Virginia Key Grassroots Festival of Music & Dance returns to Miami Feb. 19th through the 23rd, 2015 at the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park!
To kick-off the festival, we have created a NEW pre-fest 4 day CULTURE CAMP experience for all of you earlybirds who just can't get enough of VK GrassRoots! Culture Camp runs from Feb. 15-18th and features daily instrument, dance, movement & cooking workshops, nightly meals, and an evening dance each night. More info here: http://
For FOUR days the festival will feature: 50+ Bands, 4 Stages, On-site Camping, Sustainability Fair & Expo, Kids Village, Dance Tent, GrassRoots World Café, Handmade Crafts, Live Art, and Zen Village Healing Arts Area with Yoga & Movement Workshops, massage, meditation.
Musical highlights include: Afrobeta, AJ Ghent, Cortadito, Donna the Buffalo, Driftwood, Jim Lauderdale, Keith Secola, Keith Frank & the Soileau Zydeco Band, Lanzallamas, Lobo Marino, Locos Por Juana, Marco Benevento, Nag Champyons, Richie Stearns & Rosie Newton, Rubblebucket, Spam Allstars, Suénalo, Swear & Shake, Telekinetic Walrus, plus many more!

GrassRoots Festival Organization Inc. is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation from Trumansburg, NY that produces the Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance. From its inception in 1991, the organization has raised over $1,000,000 for arts, education and the fight against AIDS at its summer festival events in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. In 2003 the GrassRoots Festival Organization expanded its operation to North Carolina with the twice yearly, Spring and Fall, Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance. The Virginia Key Grassroots Festival of Music & Dance is the winter season festival of the year-round not-for-profit music, dance and arts festival series.
