New York Bomba: Legacy Women at Camaradas El Barrio Saturday March 30, 2013

Join Legacy Women as they pay musical tribute to ten of NYC's leading female arts and cultural organizers, performers, event producers, educators, and cultural advocates who have promoted and advanced the musical legacies of Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic.

The evening will feature a live music concert in Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba and Afro-Dominican Palos by Legacy Women, and a slideshow highlighting the role our special honorees have played in the Caribbean music and cultural scene of New York City.

New York Plena: Plena Sin Fronteras at City College's Afro-Latino event from Wednesday Feb. 20, 2013

Plena Sin Fronteras will be playing at an Afro-Latino event at City College this Wednesday (February 20, 2013). The event is from 6-9PM.

Update: The show will take place in the North Academic Building's NAC Ballroom.  PSF will perform sometime during the 2nd half of the event after the lectures portion of the program is completed.
