Both Men & Women
Beginners Bomba: Focusing on Sica, Yuba and Cuembe. You will learn basic steps, basic techniques and posture. No skirt is needed or scarf for this class.
Advanced Intermediate Bomba: Re visiting rhytms (sica,yuba, cuembe) learning about seis corrido y Holande. In order to take this class you must have taken a beginners class and comfortable with sica,yuba and cuembe . We will learn patterns and piquetes. Women are encouraged to use a skirt or scarf for this class. (This class will not be like your ordinary intermediate but it'll be fun!)
Both classes will be mixed with history & songs while dancing. Come and have fun with your culture!
Classes will start February 26th at beginners (7-8pm) and Advanced Intermediate Bomba (6pm-7pm) will run for 6 weeks as followed:
Feb 26th
March 5th, 12, 19,26,
April 2nd
$60/for 6 weeks , $15 drop in fee!
I encourage and welcome all bomberos and bomberas! Beginners , intermediate and even those in a group already! We never stop learning! Come join me! All classes are given bombazo style. With live drumming, singing and of course you all will be the awesome dancers!
