Chicago Bomba: Bombazo at the Casita (La Casita de Don Pedro) - Sunday September 1, 2013

Like every year for over 14 years we will be playing bomba at the casita (in front). Thank you to everyone who have made these bailes possible throughout the years! Special thanks to those who helped initiate this baile during Fiesta Boricua: Ramon Lopez, Tito Rodriguez, Ruben Gerena, Amaris Mills and the Puerto Rican Cultural for allowing us to host this special event at the casita! Los Pleneros de la 21 are proud and excited to partner again with Master Plenero, Hector "Tito" Matos (Founder/Director of Viento de Agua and long time familia of LP21), direct from Puerto Rico, for a special ONE time only master class and exploratory workshop on LA PLENA de Puerto Rico.

No previous knowledge in Plena is required (though it is recommended!). Drums are provided on a limited, first come, first serve basis!
